If you remember a while ago i got an email about demon and I posted it.
Well i am here to tell everyone what happened after that email.
After at least 50-60 people or more ( they are the ones i know about) decided to also stop going because the services is absolutely disgusting, I started being harassed by friends of the owner and told that it is not fair that people ban together and stop going to a venue for a common reason.
This is crap! CRAP, and those people who did this know who they are! so stay away from me!
Secondly, I decided to give the place a second go, along with those 50-60 people who boycott the place also, for a month or 2 it has been ok, But recently they have slipped back into disgust.
Same old s**t same old s**t hole.
Dont get your change, told you did get it
dont get your ticket, get told you did get it.
DONT GET SERVICE, SIMPLY DONT GET SERVICE
Well here is news to you demon bar.
WE WILL NOT BE BACK, AND NOT TO JUICY JUICY WHO IS OWNED BY THE SAME GROUP OF OWNERS.

Hi guys, I only went to coco
Hi guys, I only went to coco park once before and I will never go back. It wasn't to demon bar, it was to the scanadanavian bar I think. The service was abismal, it took ages to get my change and they wanted 18RMB for the coke mixer for my vodka!!!
The comment above "I started being harassed by friends of the owner and told that it is not fair that people ban together and stop going to a venue for a common reason"
I agree that this is ridiculous, it is not a matter of being "fair" if service is crap then why should people go?
Do the owners of Demon Bar
Do the owners of Demon Bar and Juicy Juicy own any other bars/clubs just for future reference to steer clear? I haven't been to either but I am heading to Shenzhen in a weeks time and definitely want to check out the nightlife there.
Cheers
I for one am not sure the
I for one am not sure the service is that bad anymore. I felt, the management had made a serious effort to fix service issues and things where generaly better.
Sure there are days that things go wrong, I am not sure it should evoke a knee jerk reaction to boycott all over again, especially when management has made an effort, and to me atleast the service is at par with most places.
whatever said and done, it is perpetually crowded and most definetly the most popular bar in COCO park
yes they did try for some
yes they did try for some time, but it slipped again into old practices, and people involved with speaking up the first time were also involved with the knee jerk action this time, you know who i mean but keep his name off here.
So i am sticking to my guns this time, BUT saying that, I will drink at Juicy Juicy but i WILL NOT order Carlsberg which comes from Demon, I WILL order TIGER.
I agree with Sid. Things
I agree with Sid. Things aren't perfect, but I haven't gotten into an argument with any of their staff for not serving my second beer, or getting back my change for a long time. (they were freakin horrible before though!)
I think the drink ticket idea was a simple yet effective solution. It would be even better if they copied the free drink ticket from Agave (Mexican restaurant in Wan Chai).
Another option near Coco Park which has a great happy hour and fantastic service is the Wall Street Bar in the Marco Polo. They also have some decent wine for the happy hour. Other than that, I'd love to hear of more options of places in the CBD area to hang out.
There is a place called
There is a place called ocean bar near coco park, i might go and try there it has a large outdoor area also.
What are the prices in Wall street like?
as for Wall Street, prices
as for Wall Street, prices are reasonable, but there wasn't a soul there to be spotted besides my group.
Yeah it's a quiet bar,
Yeah it's a quiet bar, higher end, great service, good selection of drinks, and a good choice if ladies are coming along. They also have a jazz band (two people) that plays music from 7:30 onwards.
If you're looking for a beer and pizza with the guys, Coco Park bar street is a better choice. Wall Street is a better bet if you want to do business, take a lady out for a drink, or have better service with a group of friends.
I think it is 38Rmb for a pint of Carlsberg. 2 for 1 happy hour from 6 - 8pm.
response to AJ I agree, its
response to AJ
I agree, its more of a business casual place to talk shop after work. Better choice would be the Havana Cigar and wine bar at the Futian Sheraton - an ode to aesthetic terrorism
