The next big club opens January 17th. "Cash Club" is located in the Luohu Disco District. As the name suggests they are going after Richy. It is located within walking distance of Richy on Chunfeng Rd just around the corner. It is our understanding the music style will be hip hop. The team is made up of some well connected people including a former manager of d'club in Shekou.

Taking the place of Andes Cafe in Central walk will be a bar for expats. Involved will be NYPD, Dial-An-Angel and AUSFN Wines. Supposed to have quite music, good wine and and English speaking staff.

Before the only club you could get 10RMB drinks at was In Club and those were rough Tequila and Vodka shots. Now Lace Club (yes its still open) located in the backside of Citic Plaza is now the cheapest club to drink in Shenzhen...at least on Sundays.

Club Chocolate will reopen Friday Nov 7th after a long hiatus. To celebrate this rebirth Every item on the menu under 2000RMB is buy 1 get 1 free. Hopefully this means the club scene is getting back to normal after the longgang fire.

Due to the Longgang Bar Fire, authorities are cracking down and check bar fire and business licenses. In the long run this should result in a safer nightlife but in the short term we have some bar closings and re-openings. It is hard to keep up with the rumors swirling around.

Crowne Plaza has just come out with two high class but still affordable weekly specials. On Mondays it is Martini Madness which a special I've have never heard from a hotel. Buy 1 Martini get 2get 1 free while listening to a local Jazz band.

Not many bars last for 3 years in Shenzhen. In Club got off to a slow start but became one of the busiest bars in now providing a consistent experience. They introduced 10RMB shots to the market and have kept the special ever since. Starting at 9:30pm tonight (Wednesday Oct 15th) they are celebrating their third anniversary. The specials tonight are a mystery like their famous mystery parties but even on weekdays this place is busy so it is worth coming to celebrate.
