Cowboy, A Sad story

Well I heard the word around the farm, so I went directly to the horses mouth.

The rumors are all true; Cowboy Buffalo Grill is closing its doors.

This comes to me with great disappointment; this was my favorite lunch venue, and it offered quality food and quality prices.

When I was told the bad news I have flash backs of my first blog about it [insert link for first cowboy blog here] when I mention that I hope it does go south like most innovative and original ideas do here in Shenzhen.

The owners have assured me that we will see them around town again as some later point in time, I really hope we can see Cowboy Buffalo grill Phase 2 in the not too distant future.

In closing I would like to urge all people who have, have not, love or even just liked this place to head over in their last few days and show our support and appreciation of the quality food and idea that they brought to Shenzhen, who knows! We may even be able to save the place!!

I have been a 2-3 day/week lunch fan!
I was there today and was really disappointed in the service(ordered a burger, fries, and coke) - got the coke after about 5 minutes - the burger in another 5 and almost 10 minutes later - I got the fries.
The beef tasted quite different than in my last visit -tasted OLD! I only ate about half! The fries(when they FINALLY arrived) were GREASY! The COKE was Great!
I am sad they are closing as I must now find another place for a good "hamburger" fix and in Shenzhen - it will be difficult!
I was soooooooo impressed with this place when it opened, but I found that when the Chinese lady who also speaks english was not there - the Chinese workers were typical Chinese restaurant workers who could give a shit!
Hate it!
