Open Question: budget hotels and shopping in shenzhen, china? need desperate help?

I'm going for a trip to shenzhen, china, and I need to know what the best shopping place in shenzhen is. And which hotel is best to stay in, which is not only cheap, but of considerably good service. It would be best if the hotel was near the shopping place/centre/district.

ps; shopping would be shopping for normal items. fashion and apparels like clothes, accesories, bags, etc. All the latest styles within a good budget would be nice.

The trip in shenzhen would be around one-two days, as the rest would be spent in hongkong.
